The second movement from a cantata by Wally Kleucker, "The Seven
Principles" for narrator, soloists, mixed chorus and orchestra.
The second principle of the Unitarian Universalist Association is "Justice, equity and compassion in human relations."
The text is based on the Second Principle and words by Isaac Watts
(1674-1748) used in singing the doxology in Unitarian Universalist congregations:
"De todos bajo el gran sol surja esperanza, fe, amor verdad, y belleza cantando, de cada tierra, cada vox.
From all that dwell below the skies, let songs of hope and faith arise; let peace, good will on earth be sung through every land, by every tongue."
