The sixth movement from a cantata by Wally Kleucker, "The Seven Principles" for narrator, soloists, mixed chorus and orchestra.
The sixth principle of the Unitarian Universalist Association is "the goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all."

The text is from students at the Lincoln School, an all girl’s school founded in 1884.

"“Peace means the beginning of a new world. It means that nations are friends; Peace means joy to the world. Peace is quiet & calm; it is rest; it is silence after a storm."
